Profümed Karlheinz Lohr e.K., based in Brand-Erbisdorf, Saxony, has specialized in the production, processing and distribution of cellular and nonwoven fabrics since it was founded in 1997. From the very beginning, the company has been guided by the principles of its founder Karlheinz Lohr, who always pursued the goal of quality leadership, taking into account the often very specific needs of customers.
With our products, we have developed over the last few years into a competent partner in all matters relating to the production of medical and cosmetic pulps. In view of the realization of individual customer requirements, it is in our greatest interest to find suitable solutions and to support our customers in all their concerns.
Our private label production also offers an enormous advantage. This enables us to create product packaging with an individual design according to customer requirements and to keep the prices for our customers at a reasonable level despite the highest quality standards. We also work constantly with independent institutes to ensure compliance with standards in order to demonstrate our performance in these areas. Profümed has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 13485:2016 (certification for medical devices) for many years.

Chronicle
1997 - Foundation of the company Profümed Karlheinz Lohr e.K., initially with one dabbing machine and 2 part-time employees
2000 - Permanent employment of staff thanks to increasing number of orders
2002/2003 - Idea and planning of a new dabbing machine, but a few more years passed before completion.
2004 - Thanks to increasing demand, we expand our production radius. From now on, we have a self-built rotary press and a self-built compressor sewing machine at our disposal.
2007 - Just in time for the 10th anniversary, the new dabbing machine is finally completed. The new achievement was developed and manufactured by Mr. Lohr himself.
2007 - 10th anniversary of the company Profümed Karlheinz Lohr e.K.
2010 - Takeover of the company by Mr. Georg Scheffer.
2011 - Due to increasing product demand, we expand our production, our product range and our team.
2012 - 15th anniversary of the company Profümed Karlheinz Lohr e.K.
2014 - Completion of a new production and logistics hall.
2014 - Construction of a second dabbing machine is completed.
2015 - Takeover of the cellulose wadding manufacturer in Grimmenstein/Austria, which now operates under the name "Profümed GmbH".
2017 - 20th anniversary of the company Profümed Karlheinz Lohr e.K.
2018 - Development and production of sustainable insulated bags and insulated boxes for pharmaceutical and food shipping in eCommerce
2020 - Expansion of our production and storage space at the Brand-Erbisdorf site, St. Michaelis district, by 12,000 sqm
